What’s Up Milton Academy?
It’s finally here. This is the last one. I will be signing autographs if you’re interested. Senior year has been a crazy ride, and I have grown a lot over the past 2 months. I mean on Monday, I skipped assembly. Senior spring is meant to be a time for the class to come together over the great memories they have shared over the past four years, but that hasn’t worked out so well for the Class of 2016. I’m not one to point fingers, but at the moment mine is firmly extended in the direction of Kevin Ryu. Regardless of what is happening now, the 2015-2016 school year was pretty great with some awesome memories.
Here are the Craziest Things that Have Happened in the Past Year:
Charlie Mathews (II) finally stepped foot on the lacrosse field, and preceded to get rekt by Chris Mathews (II).
The Milton Paper ran out of money. Two times.
Justin Yoon played on national television 13 times. That’s more than every other alumni in the history of Milton history. Combined.
The SGA Amendment. I mean damn, that really changed the future of the school. So necessary.
We had some amazing sports teams this year. Boys Soccer, Boys Hockey, Girls Tennis. And then we had Boys Basketball…
In all honesty, this last week of senior year has been an emotional rollercoaster. I went from “sick we’re having a skip day” happy to “shoot we aren’t having a skip day” sad. If you want to be in contact with me over the summer or next year, add me on Snapchat @buccimane. Remember everyone, life is more fun when you don’t take it seriously. Sometimes.
