MA Soccer 2012

by The Milton Measure on Friday, October 5th, 2012

Any of the countless spectators at recent MA Varsity Boys’ Soccer games can tell you that Michael Cooke (I) and Christopher Cahoon (I) have been doing a spectacular job as captains. Midfielder Liam White (II) says, “Our captains are good leaders because they are easygoing and good guys to be around during practice and off the field, but once the game starts, they turn up the intensity and focus on getting results.” The Milton Measure had a chance to sit down with Captain Michael Cooke to get his thoughts on the team.

Does the team have a ritual before every game?

Not really, but I’ve yelled in the huddle right before every game since my Sophomore year to pump up the team.

How is this season’s team different from past seasons?

There are a ton of new kids.

Describe the team in one well-chosen word.

Which teammate would you pick to be stranded on an island with and why?

Luca Lorenzoni (II) because it wouldn’t be awkward when we have to pee outside.

Who are your most attractive players?

Dan Rubenstein (I) and Jesse Martinez (III)

So come out and support the Mustangs for their next home game against the St. Marks Winged Lions on October 17th, three o’clock. You won’t regret it!
